Vca Mckay’S Mill Animal Hospital

I am grateful for the staff at VCA McKay’s Mill Animal Hospital. They know exactly how to put my sweet Bernedoodle at ease! Sophie has a little anxiety about leaving me, and the they are kind and loving! 🐾🐕‍🦺

I recently moved to Franklin and switched to this Mckays Mill location from the VCA on Murphy Road. My dog was seen here last week for an ear infection, but when he started vomiting, refused to eat, and I called requesting an urgent appointment today, I was told they were fully booked and could not see him that day. Given his symptoms and that he had just been seen the week before, I expected more urgency and concern. Fortunately, the Murphy Road location was willing to fit him in the same day. They have consistently gone above and beyond for my dog, whether it's accommodating urgent visits or helping with my pet insurance claims. In comparison, I have found this location to be much less helpful, especially regarding insurance paperwork and overall customer service. Although it's a 35-minute drive, I'll be returning to the Murphy Road location because I genuinely feel that team cares about my dog and provides a much higher level of care and support for us. Very disappointed.
